This new ISO is provided mainly to allow getting out of the box the most recent versions of packages it contains coming from the Slackware and Slint
repositories.

The installer in this ISO only provides the i3 window manager (with the i38 configuration tool) and the MATE desktop.

However I hope to make available in a not too distant future more recent versions of other desktops as adds-on, with the help of contributors.

The structure of the installer as been modified to allow in a future version of the ISO to choose which desktop to install among MATE and others ones. More generally the user will be allowed to choose which sets of packages to install.

The installer also brings a few bug fixes and enhancements:
- If a wireless connection is set up during installation, a numbered list of available networks (or SSID) is presented if the user types l (as in list). The user can choose the network typing either its name or its number. The user can also press Q (as in quit) to give up setting up a wireless connection. Then installation will continue as if the user had refused to set one when asked.
- The slick greeter of the lightdm login manager will display on screen keyboard by default. In addition if the user chose to keep speech during installation, the greeter will speak by default, using the Orca screen reader.

Some updates of the translations of the installer are necessary, as an update of the documentation and its translations, thanks for your patience.
